What makes a great supply chain leader? What lessons can we learn from the best supply chain leaders across varied industries?
Those are just two of the questions authors Radu Palamariu and Knut Alicke tried to answer in their recent book, “From Source to Sold.”
That book, published in October 2022 by Grammar Factory Publishing, has reached an audience of 1.8 million people. This week, an audio edition became available with special bonus content featuring “The CHAIN Model” and a companion guide with additional resources and support to implement the strategies outlined in the book.
“From Source to Sold” features a collection of 26 stories from some of the leading minds and executives in the supply chain space, allowing each to delve into their career paths and strategies they have deployed in reaching individual and company success.
Palamariu is the managing director of Alcott Global, a global executive search firm focused on operations and supply chain. Alicke is a partner at McKinsey & Company, part of the global supply chain leadership team, and a visiting professor of supply chain at the University of Cologne.
“The audiobook is a great way for busy professionals to fit the book’s valuable content into their busy schedules,” said Alicke.
The CHAIN Model for Supply Chain Leadership, which stands for collaborative, holistic, adaptable, influential, narrative, is presented throughout the stories in the book. While there is no one path to success, the stories offer some common themes that the authors say represent various stages of the CHAIN Model.
The audiobook edition of “From Source to Sold” is available today on Audible, Amazon, Apple, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, Mofibo and on Storytel. The print version is available at most major bookstores, from the book’s website at www.sourcetosold.com or on Amazon.
