Here is my response to a LinkedIn post by Joël Collin-Demers regarding a Canadian judges decision to legally accept a thumbs-up emojie as a valid acceptance of a contract signature: I recently posted a linkdIn poll asking, “What is the major obstacle to eSignature (electronic signature) adoption? ” – [link] The options included – requires advanced technology, lack of trust (security), and resistance to change.
