Fox Logistics expands leadership team

Fox Logistics, an asset-based third-party logistics provider (3PL), announced the appointment of Kyle Mlakar as the company’s new president. The promotion comes during rapid growth, expansion and opportunity for the company as it focuses on middle-market enterprise, retail and manufacturing companies.

In his new role, Mlakar will serve as the conduit between the CEO and the organization, working diligently to ensure the company is aligned to meet milestones and growth goals. He will focus on keeping the team at the company’s center while delivering top-notch service, dependability and value to customers and carrier partners. He will also work alongside the CEO seeking out new opportunities to build and enhance the brand.

Mlakar will focus on enhancing employee satisfaction and company culture by implementing the Fox Core Values Ambassadorship Program. The program will acknowledge team members who exemplify the company’s core values and empower team members to collectively live the Fox Logistics values daily to power the company. Additionally, Mlakar will implement a new employee annual review program to elevate communication between teams, improve the overall quality of work, increase productivity and promote employee development.

Before becoming president of Fox Logistics, Mlakar served as chief of staff with the company, where he focused on executing the company’s ideas and vision. He brings more than 15 years of experience in the logistics and transportation industry to the company. Mlakar previously served in roles within strategic planning, client services, human resources, marketing and sales, where he observed top performers and implemented strategies to learn new skills.

In his new role as president, Mlakar will work closely with Fox Logistics CEO Matt Lawrence to expand reach within the organization to support, guide and assist all team members.

“Kyle is a trusted advisor for me and the executive leadership team,” said Fox Logistics CEO Matt Lawrence. “Our goal for the next year is to raise the bar across every aspect of our operations and expand our U.S. and international teams. Kyle will play a pivotal role in executing our plans and taking the company to the next level.”

Fox Logistics experienced record growth in 2022. The company ranked No. 268 on the Inc. 5000 list. This is the first year Fox Logistics has ranked on the Inc. 5000 list, which comes after a record year of growth and achievement for the company.
