I can now see why the platform is the industry standard for meeting and event planning. It has all the bells and whistles for inviting guests, setting up agendas, speakers, and options for attendee types (which makes it a tad bit complicated to understand – especially when you aren’t in the business). But I suppose if this is what you do for a living, it must be right up your alley! What’s not to love? They’ve thought of almost everything for this tool.

And surprisingly enough, the portion of the tool that allows you to design the event website /invitation – mimics the ease of WordPress editor. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the functionality and was impressed! And I’m pretty sure it’s the only part I could actually follow.  But I digress.

Now, I do realize I’m late to the party with this platform *shrugs*. But, the ladies presenting did show some updates they made to their “FLEX” system, along with future plans that seem to be great enhancements. It’s just too bad that it seems the roll-out of these options are going to take months to implement. Don’t get me wrong, in managing a website I can REALLY feel their pain. And why rush things and make mistakes I suppose… Kudos to you CVENT for a cool new tool (even if it’s just new to me!).
