Sheri Hinish Featured Cover of May’s Supply Chain Digital Magazine Talking Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Every success story is a tale of failure, courage, adaptation, and persistence. When we listen and celebrate what we have in common and what makes each of us uniquely different, we evolve and create the type of world where everyone can participate, where connections are real and inclusion is abundant.

Today, I share a personal reflection in Supply Chain Digital’s May edition. It’s a story that describes why diversity and equity are critical to a business’s success and how sustainability is people, planet, and profit positive. Equality and equity are not the same thing. And despite progress, we still lag behind both gender and racial equity in STEM + supply chain fields.

I also share how HBCUs continue to be an under-leveraged resource for ‘new school’ supply chain talent, despite the overwhelming business case in economic and social value created by HBCU STEM graduates. Bottom line, we must do better.

We’ve never been smarter, with exponential technology and resources at our fingertips. When you close your eyes, what type of world would you want to live in? And how can we use sustainable supply chains to design, build, and shape our world?

Can I join you on your journey? 🙋🏾‍♀️
