There is nothing wrong with a quick win – or a series of quick wins per Jim Collins’ Flywheel model.
However, one line from the above excerpt that does require some clarification, is the conclusion reached by the panel’s recommendation “to avoid AI projects that involve dependency on clean data.“
Personally – and yes, I do have an opinion, I am not jumping to any conclusions regarding the interpretation of this statement.
Instead, I am going to turn to you for your thoughts on what this means, keeping in mind the following quote from one of the smartest data people I know:
“Digital transformation is impossible without clean data.” – Robert Handfield, Bank of America University Distinguished Professor of Supply Chain Management, NC State University
