Starbucks Appoints Heather Ostis as CPO
SEATTLE — Earlier this year, Starbucks appointed Heather Ostis as its senior vice president and chief procurement officer of global supply chain. Ostis was formerly with Delta Airlines since 2018 as vice president, head of global supply chain management & strategic sourcing.
She stated on her LinkedIn page, “My years at Delta were filled with amazing adventures, shared memories, and a cherished Delta community that I will always hold dear.
“As I step through the doors of Starbucks, I am excited to build upon the impact and excellence of their Mission, Promises, and Values. I am looking forward to discovering and nurturing the limitless possibilities of human connection with every cup, conversation, community, and partner.”
Ostis’ Starbucks biography says in her role, she is focused on driving efforts that alleviate constraints, strengthen supplier relationships, enhance supplier performance, and deliver supply network resiliency to serve Starbucks partners (employees) and customers.

Sheri Lewis Named CSCO for BeautyHealth
LONG BEACH, Calif.— The Beauty Health Company named Sheri Lewis as chief supply chain and operations officer. Lewis will report to BeautyHealth’s president and CEO, Marla Beck.
According to Beck, “Sheri is a talented and deeply experienced executive who brings decades of valuable global operations expertise to BeautyHealth as we chart the future of the company,” she said.
“The Board of Directors and I are confident that her deep industry experience across global supply chain and operations will play a critical role in advancing our strategic objectives with the goal of further enhancing shareholder value.”
The company stated that before joining BeautyHealth, Lewis established herself as an industry leader in global supply chain and manufacturing operations. Most recently, Lewis was the EVP of global supply chain operations at Avantor, Inc., where she served on the executive committee and led the company’s global integrated supply chain strategy and operational performance with oversight of over 3,500 associates.
Lewis noted, “I’m thrilled to join The Beauty Health Company at such a pivotal moment in its history. BeautyHealth has become a leader in the space by developing world-class brands and products that have captured the loyalty of a global community of providers, partners, and consumers,” she said. “I am confident in our ability to make marked progress in key operational areas to drive results across the entire value stream as we grow and evolve the business.”

Drew Vermilion Promoted to SVP, Supply Chain Strategy for Southern Glazer’s
MIAMI & DALLAS — Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer’s), the world’s preeminent distributor of beverage alcohol, announced it has promoted Drew Vermilion to the role of senior vice president, supply chain strategy & chief of staff.
The company stated that in his new position, Vermilion will report directly to Bobby Burg, senior vice president, operations & chief supply chain officer, and will spearhead Southern Glazer’s long-term supply chain strategy across all aspects of the organization. Vermilion’s tenure at Southern Glazer’s spans 19 years, during which he has worked in operations, technology, and supply chain.
According to Burg, “Drew has been a key leader in our supply chain organization, and over the last few years, he has cultivated a dynamic and high-performing team, which has been instrumental in many major projects,” he said. “I look forward to working closely with Drew and the entire supply chain management team to further advance the progress we’ve already achieved.”

Booz Allen Hamilton Names Bill Rubin VP, Global Supply Chain
McLEAN, Virginia — Booz Allen Hamilton named Bill Rubin vice president of global supply chain, according to his LinkedIn post.
Rubin spent nearly 20 years at Northrop Grumman serving under various roles, including director, supplier performance management; director, GSC digital transformation; and senior director of global supply chain.
Kocher+Beck Promotes Alexander Dippold Director, Global SCM
STUTTGART, Germany — Kocher+Beck promoted Alexander Dippold as global supply chain management, director.
The company stated that Dippold has been an important member of the Kocher+Beck family for three years. He has more than 20 years of automotive experience, as well as a background in logistics.
Reporting directly to CEO Lars Beck, Dippold is looking forward to supporting the company’s valuable customers, he says.
