10 Best Procurement Conferences in 2024 (live events)

Procurement conferences are more popular than ever, after almost 2 years’ absence of in-person events during the pandemic.

As we step into 2024, the procurement ecosystem continues to evolve. This offers a plethora of conferences that cater to various aspects of this dynamic field. Whether you’re looking to network, learn about the latest trends, or dive deep into procurement innovation, there’s a suitable conference for you.

Here’s a quick guide with all the key stats and ticket info (where available), to help you decide which procurement conference to attend in 2024.

10 best Procurement Conferences in 2024

We’ve tended to focus on North America and Europe for this list, simply because that’s where the vast majority of our website visitors, podcast listeners and email subscribers are located.

1. DPW Amsterdam

DPW Amsterdam is centred around digital procurement transformation, with a theme this year of 10X Procurement. It’s an excellent choice for professionals interested in how digitalisation is reshaping procurement, featuring talks from various industry leaders.

I’ve been to DPW the past 2 years. It’s hands down the most inspirational conference you’ll go to. You get a palpable feeling that the digital ecosystem is thriving, and that this is the future.

Matthias and Herman from DPW have also announced that there will be a DPW event in New York this year too. At the time of writing, further details have not been made public.

    • Dates: October 9-10

The ProcureCon series, including events on the East Coast, West Coast, and Europe, offers a diverse range of perspectives at each of these procurement conferences. These events are known for their interactive sessions. They’re ideal for those seeking insights into both regional and global procurement challenges.

A notable difference with the ProcureCon events is that there is much more of a focus on practitioners rather than sponsors. ProcurementSoftware.site was a Media Partner the past two years at their event in Barcelona.

  • ProcureCon EAST: September 09-11, Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, Orlando, FL
  • ProcureCon WEST: March 11-13, JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa
    • Ticket Prices: Procurement Practitioners can avail of a three-day pass for $2,599, while Solution Providers are offered a two-and-a-half-day pass for $3,799
  • ProcureCon EU: September 17-19, Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower
    • More info about the agenda and speakers here.
  • Highlights: These conferences are spread across various locations and dates, offering a wide range of insights for procurement professionals.

I did a review of DPW vs. ProcureCon, highlighting each one’s relative pros and cons and who each conference is aimed at.
